Little Aid specialises in teaching quality first aid courses to parents, grandparents and carers.
Our clientele include:
- Maternal & Child Health centres
- Not-for-profit organisations (eg, preschools)
- Mother’s groups (including dads & grandparents)
- Other areas such as indoor play centres, maternity wear stores etc.
Little Aid was created for a few reasons:
- To meet a need in the community (which has given such satisfaction knowing this is a success!)
To earn a decent income around the family’s commitments (particularly school and kindergarten)
- To minimise child-care
- To not have to work full 8-hour days

Due to huge growth, Little Aid is seeking professional first aid trainers. This is a highly rewarding position, meeting people from all walks of life, mostly first-time parents and grandparents excited (and a little scared) with their new baby.
Professional attributes that Little Aid first aid trainers must have (or be willing to obtain) include:
- Cert IV TAA40104 (Workplace Trainer)
- Minimum 2 years in the first aid industry or higher (nurses and paramedics highly encouraged to apply)
- Own ABN and ability to invoice for work conducted
- Police check (as employees enter other people’s homes)
What we require in our trainers includes:
- Flexible hours, including weekends and some evenings
- Reliable car (large enough to hold equipment such as mannequins) and full driver’s licence
- Some sales (no experience necessary)
- Some cash handling/banking
- Access to email
- Own mobile phone
- Friendly disposition
- Excellent communication skills with all kinds of clientele
- Ability to work unsupervised.
